Certified Appraiser

Kay Jones has been involved in the Real Estate industry for her entire career. She started as an underwrite/risk analyst and began completing residential appraisals 30+ years ago. In addition to completing her own assignments, she has owned a real estate appraisal firm, trained appraisers in field inspection, research and reporting, and managed support staff. She joined Definitive Valuations in October 2015 in order to utilize her individual skill sets and be a part of a growing company in the North Alabama area.
Personally, she is the mother of 3 and grandmother of 7. When she is not working, there is nothing she enjoys more than being involved with her family. A wide variety of activities, celebrations, and family gatherings energizes her.
